At the centre of Emma’s design ethos is her passion for horticulture and fresh ideas.
After running a floral design business in the 1980’s Emma went on to study Horticulture, Planting Design and Garden Design in the 1990’s, graduating from college with a distinction and the top student of the year in Planting Design.
Since then Emma has developed her garden design practice, and is a pre-registered member of the Society of Garden Designers. She has previously been a horticultural volunteer at Kew Gardens and the Chiswick House Kitchen Garden project.
She continues to learn through professional development opportunities to further her working knowledge of gardens and design.
Underlying Emma’s work is the belief that good design takes into account a garden’s sense of place – both in the context of its surrounding and the architectural and interior style of the property.
Emma’s passion is to create garden spaces that their occupants love, and where they continually long to be.
