Cottage Garden
Radlett
Radlett
The cottage dated from the turn of the last century and had a reasonable sized garden, but this had become difficult to manage and the lawn area a challenge, as there were a series of overhanging lime trees and shady areas. The design needed to address these issues and to make the garden lower on maintenance. A lawn was removed from the layout and areas for sitting and relaxing were created, as well as accommodating a group of the clients pots.
What our client had to say:
I had the good fortune to come across Emma via a mutual friend. She came from Ealing to visit me and my former garden in Hertfordshire. We discussed possible plans and she came up with two designs, both very different. I am more than pleased with the one I chose. She kept in close contact during all the planning and execution processes. We discussed the type of plants I liked and agreed on a planting plan. When it came to selecting the hard landscape materials, she produced examples so I could make a decision. Emma then researched and shortlisted three possible landscape contractors to execute the design. I met all three, and was happy to accept her choice. She visited the garden during the period of transformation and made sure I was happy with progress. Since its completion two years ago, she has been to visit to check all is well.
Emma is a talented designer, a responsive listener, a good organiser, and has a warm and friendly personality. She took away all the worry and stress, and delivered a garden to enjoy and treasure. I have no hesitation in recommending her services to potential clients.”
